Nothing about us without us!

The Substance User Network of the Atlantic Region (SUNAR) is a group by and for people with lived & living experience of criminalized drug use. We engage in education, outreach and advocacy to enhance and save the lives of people who use(d) drugs in the Atlantic provinces of Canada.

We keep each other safe by drawing attention to the toxic drug supply, doing outreach in our local communities, spreading the word about harm reduction and we demand to be treated with dignity and respect. Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media to hear about what we and other rad drug user advocacy groups are working on.

Drug Warnings

Because of bad drug policies, there are a lot of toxic drugs out there. Find the latest drug warnings below:

If you know about any toxic drugs, let the rest of us know by filling out an anonymous bad drug report.

Harm Reduction

Visit our Harm Reduction page to find info on safer drug use, overdose prevention, how to get and use fentanyl testing strips and how to get and use a Naloxone kit. Most importantly, never use alone!

Never use alone!
Go to an Overdose Prevention Site (OPS), use the Brave App (see video above) or call the NORS overdose prevention line at 1-888-688-6677.

Visit our Resources page to find a list of harm reduction services in the Atlantic provinces. Including Overdose Prevention Sites (OPS), free Naloxone and free fentanyl testing strips.
